I use a Shimano Curado K reel in Left Hand Wind (201) for my casting rig off the beach and in-shore. It's a fantastic reel. I have been a Shimano fan since I was young for bike parts and fishing. The Curado is petite, ergonomic and configurable for your casting style to prevent spool over run.
I recently changed out the spool bearings for ceramic using Boca Bearing kit. The change out was simple and almost required no tools. I used a set of forceps to grip the bearing retainer clip to take it out and put it back in.
